This weekend, photographers Matt Dunn and Josh Yospyn photographed the annual Rolling Thunder event in Washington, DC, while Mike Hicks photographed beach goers at Coney Island on Monday.
STRATA photographer Aziz Yazdani receives best in show for Exposed DC’s 8th annual photography exhibit. There is an interview with Aziz over on Exposed DC’s site which provides some insight on Aziz’s approach to the image you see above.
Three other STRATA members, Hector Isaac, Joshua Yospyn and Matt Dunn are also featured in the exhibit along with 45 other DC-centric photographers.
The opening reception (click here for tickets) is on Wed., March 19, 6 to 10 p.m. at the Longview Gallery, 1234 9th Street NW, Washington D.C., just a few blocks from the Mt. Vernon/Convention Center Metro. All photographs displayed will be for sale. Regular gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, 12 to 5 p.m. The exhibition is free up to April 6.
There is also a free after party in The Passenger’s theater. 8 p.m. to close, cash bar only.
